Aqua Fuego's 'X & the City' night transforms into 'X-MAS & THE CITY' with a special appearance by Super Santa at the venue, located on the third floor of Marine Tower, Al Fateh Highway.

The evening will have entertainment by DJ Salime. Entry is BD3 for men and free for women and couples. Gates open at 8pm.

Friday (Dec 26)

Last day of the book festival being held by the Northern Municipal Council at its premises in Budaiya offering affordable books to support charity.

English as well as Arabic language second-hand books will be available and will be sold at prices ranging from 100 fils to BD1.

The proceeds will be allocated to low-income families and orphans in the Northern Governorate.

The Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam is organising a week-long painting workshop for children between six and 18 years of age from today at 9.30 am at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Diamond Jubilee Hall.

The worksop will be led by T A S Menon, former Principle of the Ravivarma School of Fine Arts in Kerala, India alongside renowned artistes who are residents in Bahrain.

The grand finale of this workshop is scheduled for the second Friday in January and will feature a drawing and painting competition followed by an exhibition of the works of the children who participated in the workshop.

The fourth Annual Al Bander and Batelco Carnival Fair will be held at the Al Bander Hotel and Resort in Sitra. It will be held under the patronage of the Culture and Information Ministry, as part of the National Day and Accession Day celebrations. It will feature activities for children and families including a firework display, go-karts, laser show, dabdoob band, magic show, fire show, Bahrain bikers show, stilt walker, henna, face painting, clown, food stalls and more.
