Representatives from Rolls-Royce dealerships in the Middle East region met recently at the company's manufacturing plant and headquarters at Goodwood, England, to discuss business growth based on the Phantom family and launch plans for the new model series, currently named RR4.

General managers and brand managers from the nine dealerships across seven countries were welcomed by Tom Purves, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, and by Peter Schoppmann, regional director, Middle East.

Mr Purves said: "The Middle East is an important region for us and it was vital to discuss our future strategy with our Middle Eastern business partners. We are optimistic about the future of the automotive industry's ultimate luxury brand. The dealers in the Middle East are perfectly positioned to provide an exceptional service for our clients, building on their many years of experience in the luxury car market."

Zayed Al Zayani, managing director of Euro Motors, the sole Rolls-Royce dealer in Bahrain, said: "We were very impressed by the investments made at Goodwood. The recently launched Phantom CoupŽ and the coming new model promise an encouraging future for Rolls-Royce in the Kingdom of Bahrain."

The new Phantom CoupŽ was recently launched in the Middle East, adding to the acclaimed portfolio of four-door Phantom saloons and the Phantom Drophead CoupŽ in the region. The new model, RR4, will complement the Phantom family. The first customers will take delivery of the car in 2010.
