The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) will be the exclusive elite sponsor of the upcoming 9th GCC Banking Conference, which will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa in Salman Al Khalifa.
ThecConference will take place in Bahrain on March 24-25, 2009 at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa.
The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) in co-operation with GCC secretariat general is organising this conference under the theme 'A New Era in International Banking Practices: Implications for the GCC Markets'.
The event has been taking place for over 15 years, and is hosted by each of the Gulf countries in rotation.
Topics will focus on the GCC's regulatory industry and provide participants with the opportunity to debate with regulators on the most topical and significant issues affecting regional markets.
