Wednesday (Jan 28) Film - Casanova on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Abandoned by his mother as a child, Casanova has grown into a lascivious yet oddly innocent young man, who pursues pleasure wholeheartedly and mistakes lust for love. His biggest concern is eluding Italy's puritanical Inquisitors, until he meets Francesca Bruni, a beauty who publishes clever pamphlets on women's rights under a pseudonym. In time-honoured tradition, Casanova is instantly smitten with the one woman in Venice who doesn't want anything to do with him.

Hat Squad leader Max Hoover's personal involvement in the baffling murder threatens not only the squad but his wife, Katherine.

Adele August, a Wisconsin-based mother, longs for a more exciting and glamorous life in Beverly Hills, California. She leaves her husband and packs her reluctant daughter Ann into a gold Mercedes Benz bound for LA. When they arrive and move into an apartment they can't really afford, it becomes clear that Ann is the mature half of the duo, while Adele, a dreamer, is not firmly grounded in reality. Her plans include Ann's future career as an actress (a profession in which the girl has no interest) and landing a rich and handsome husband for herself. But a family tragedy strikes.

Film - Catch Me if You Can on Fox Movies at 11pm.

Based on a true story, Frank W Abagnale was employed as a doctor, a lawyer, and as a co-pilot for a major airline company all before reaching his 21st birthday. A successful con artist and master of deception, Frank is also a brilliant forger, whose skill at cheque fraud has netted him millions of dollars in stolen funds - much to the embarrassment of the authorities - and FBI Agent Carl Hanratty has made it his prime mission to capture him and bring him to justice. However, Frank is always one step ahead of Carl, baiting him to continue the chase.

It's 20 below, the clock is ticking, within a month the city of Harbin will host the world's premiere winter festival. In less than five weeks a team of 5,000 people will harvest four million cubic feet of ice and snow and build hundreds of ice sculptures, ice slides, and ice structures of every description. Then it's time to flick the switch and light up Harbin's ice magic. We're going behind the scenes to follow the organisers and international teams of elite ice sculptors as they race against time and the weather to create the world's biggest winter wonderland.
