Dear Stan,I thank you and Asma for giving Think Pink Bahrain the exposure for our cheque presentation. I received many positive comments about the article, and I thank you for highlightening our continued campaign with the ministries of Bahrain.

The attached picture is the reason I am never disappointed and continue. It's after just five years, that the new women of this world are being proactive themseleves. It may look like a party for 20 young ladies, but the awareness made (pre and post) for this Think Pink Pamper Party is priceless.

I wanted to send it on behalf of Think Pink Bahrain. It was organised by Hannah van der Eyken, Molly Whittaker and Persia Honar and raised BD110.

Dear Stan,

The Bahrain Caledonian Society's Highland Games, to be held on the afternoon of March 13 at the Rugby Club, needs GulfWeekly readers!

We still need teams to participate in this fantastic fun day - who doesn't want to toss a caber on a balmy Friday afternoon?

Teams are made up of 10 people, with a minimum of two female members, and the traditional events include caber toss, relay race, car pull, tug of war, farmer's run. The cost of entry is BD100 per team for almost unlimited fun, sparkly trinkets and limited food and beverages.

Teams can be from organisations or just informal groups of like minded individuals (some level of uniformity in team members' attire, such as same colour tops preferred (variations in shade not a problem).

We are also in need of stewards to ensure fair play. Only qualifications necessary are:

l Sound mind and body.

l An unblemished character in the areas of propriety and impartiality.

(One out of two will probably do).

If you are interested in entering a team please let us know by reply email today.

If you want to volunteer for stewarding duties please let us no by reply email by March 1 at caleys@batelco.com.bh>
