The Pakistani Women's Association is planning a fashion show titled 'Riwaaj' on March 7 under the patronage of Shaikha Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of his Majesty King Hamad.
The show will be held at the Cultural Hall of the Bahrain Museum.
The fashion extravaganza, will be a fusion of tradition and contemporary style that blend into eye-catching designs.
Fashion designer wear by internationally known top Pakistani designers including Umar Sayeed and Shamaeel will be presented by Zeba Husain of Ensemble, one of Pakistan's leading fashion boutiques.
Well-known fashion designer Faiza Sami will also be presenting her exquisite bridal wear and other formal wear.
The show will be choreographed by Imran Kureishi, nationally renowned fashion choreographer.
The designer team will be arriving on the island in early March.
PWA's fundraising fashion shows are well-known on the island for their style and elegance.
Part of the proceeds of the fashion show will go towards the support of widows and children in Gaza and also be used for local charitable causes.
