Three steps to beautiful hair

Protecting your hair from the Gulf's harsh desert climate is as easy as one, two, three if you know how to go about it.

Problems commonly experienced by both men and women in this part of the world include excessive hair-fall and premature balding in men, dry, flaky scalp, hair feeling dry and brittle, lacking body and shine and resistant to colouring and perming.

These can be explained through a number of environmental causes such as the harsh desert sun, air conditioning, silica in the air, which can cause breakage and dandruff-like symptoms and the use of desalinated water, to which chlorine is added to fight bacteria.

All these elements can lead to numerous problems for the hair and scalp but one way to combat them is the use of the Permea Plus three-step solution.

First use the Permea Plus Anti-Sal shampoo which provides therapeutic gentle cleaning to remove the build-up of minerals and oxidisers which can damage the hair.

The combination of biotin, to help protect the scalp, pure coconut oil to moisturise and soften, panethol (vitamin B5) which penetrates the hair's shaft to protect and moisturise and the UV absorber Tinogard, all add up to a hair treat.

Next apply the Permea Plus Anti-Sal conditioner which, with regular use, promises to restore moisture balance, strength and elasticity to the shaft leaving hair soft and tangle free.

And the special anti-sal formula will also keep the scalp healthy and protect against excessive hair loss.

And the final step is a weekly treatment with Permea Plus Hair Repari Massage Oil containing six natural oils to revitalise hair affected by desalinated water, heat, harsh climate, age and cosmetic treatments.

And manufacturers claim the effectiveness of the products is progressive so hair will continue to improve with use.

The Permea Plus range is available through Gulf Pharmacy & General Store in Bahrain.
