This is a series of true horror stories abroad - when the trip of a lifetime turns into a journey to hell. Some went in search of adventure, others a new life or the holiday of a lifetime. All ended up in a situation beyond their worst nightmares. Daniel was down on his luck when he took up an offer to smuggle cocaine from Ecuador. The only problem was that his accomplice was a man he couldn't stand, but the pull of easy money was too strong.

In this remake of the 1968 film starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, a multi-millionaire (Pierce Brosnan) is looking for a little excitement in his life and decides to execute the perfect crime by stealing a priceless Monet painting from an art gallery. A female insurance investigator (Rene Russo) attempts to get the goods on him and ends up falling in love.
FRIDAY (Mar 27)
Film - The Guardian on Star Movies at 8.30pm.
After losing his crew in a fatal crash, veteran Rescue Swimmer, Ben Randall (Kevin Costner), is sent to teach at 'A' School, an elite training programme for Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers. He throws the programme upside down with his unorthodox training methods. While there, he encounters a young, cocky swim champ Jake Fischer (Ashton Kutcher), who is driven to be the best. Upon graduation, Jake follows Randall to Kodiak, Alaska. In his initial solo rescue, Jake learns from Randall the true meaning of heroism and sacrifice.
SATURDAY (Mar 28)
Film - The Perfect Storm on Fox Movies at 11pm.
On Halloween 1991, 200 miles off the Gloucester, Massachusetts shore, a collision of monstrous storms leaves a sword-fishing boat, the Andrea Gail, stranded in high seas, defenceless in what meteorologists have called the storm of the century. At the helm is the dedicated but grizzled captain Billy Tyne (George Clooney) who takes his crew out for one last run for the season in the hopes of making a lucrative catch. But the trip is a gamble, as for the best fishing the crew must head to the dreaded Flemish Cap - an area of ocean noted as much for its bad weather as it is for its good fish.

After purchasing a brownstone in New York, a thirty-something divorced woman, Meg Altman (Jodie Foster) and her daughter are forced to take advantage of the 'panic room' when intruders break into their home. But they soon find that what the intruders want is locked in the panic room with them. Meg must outsmart the intruders and find a way to help her diabetic daughter whose medicine is on the other side of the locked door.
MONDAY (Mar 30)Film - Coach Carter on Fox Movies at 9pm.
Inspired by the true story of controversial basketball coach Ken Carter (Samuel L Jackson), who received both high praise and criticism when he benched his entire undefeated team for poor academic performance. Tension mounted as the Richmond High Oilers faced the upcoming championship. The town was wild with excitement over their undefeated team. No one could imagine that on January 4, 1999 the community would erupt in dissention and so many lives would change forever when Carter padlocked the gym, refusing the players access for failing to keep up their grades.
TUESDAY (Mar 31)
Film - Against the Ropes on Fox Movies at 11pm.
A biopic inspired by true events in the life of renowned boxing manager Jackie Kallen (Meg Ryan), a middle-aged mother from Michigan, who guided the careers of several, high-profile, professional boxers, including four world champions. The drama focuses on her relationship with one boxer, in particular, Luther Shaw (Omar Epps), a light-heavyweight contender from the inner-city, whose life and career Kallen helped turn around.
