Role Models has feel-good touch

This movie is fun to watch. It's not very long, the story is very simple and both Sean William Scott and Paul Rudd acted their parts perfectly.

But I have to warn the parents if they are going to watch it with their little ones ... it has a lot of swearing.

Role Models is about two guys, Danny and Wheeler, who go out each day driving a huge company pickup to schools, to spread the message to kids that they should get their high from Minotaur brand drinks instead of drugs.

Danny (Rudd) hates his job and his life and becomes verbally abusive to people. His girlfriend is tired of his attitude so she breaks up with him.

Things go really badly for Danny and though his friend Wheeler (Scott) tries to make him look at the brighter side of life, he doesn't listen.

One day Danny gets out of control and drives the truck into a statue outside a high school.

Wheeler is dragged in by association and they get a 30-day prison sentence reduced to 150 hours of community service at Sturdy Wings, an organisation aimed at pairing an adult with a kid to serve as guidance.

The guys have to act as big brothers to Augie, who is a nerd, and Ronnie, a trash-talking trouble maker.

Ronnie who has rejected eight previous guides manages to bond with Wheeler, since both of them are into girls and their physical appearances.

There are a few funny scenes between the pair and you can notice how gradually Wheeler becomes a more understanding and responsible person.

On the other hand, there is Augie, a teenager who is obsessed with medieval role-playing.

He is too scared to talk to the girl he likes and is bullied by the ruler of Laire, the invented kingdom which meets for swordplay in a lot.

Although Danny refuses to be part of Augie's fantasy world, with time he begins to understand his passion for this game and actually takes part in it.

He even defends the boy in front of his mother and step-father who just can't understand what Augie is going through.

In the end, the movie is about two guys who find the best in themselves by helping others and lucky for Danny he gets his girlfriend back ... a happy ending for everyone.

You should go and see the movie if you are looking to pass some pleasant time and have a few laughs.
