Wednesday (Apr 1) Film - Boys on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

John Baker Jr is a high school senior outcast, weary of his upper-class boarding school life. His life is awakened when he finds Patty Vare, a young 20-something woman, lying unconscious in a field after being thrown from a horse while fleeing the police. Seeing this as an opportunity to break out of his mundane existence, he evades the cops by smuggling her into the school and takes care of her. But as their relationship blossoms into a love affair, John discovers that Patty is concealing a much darker secret that involves a missing famous baseball player.

THURSDAY (Apr 2)

Animation - Madagascar on Fox Movies at 11pm.

This movie focuses on four residents and 'stars' of the Central Park Zoo in New York City who are also best friends: a lion, a zebra, a giraffe and a pregnant hippo. When one of them goes missing, the other three break out of the zoo to look for him. All four are captured and put in boxes to ship them back to Africa but an accident at sea strands them on the shore of Madagascar. Exploring their surroundings, the four friends soon meet the Malagasy locals and their carnivorous enemies, the fousas.

FRIDAY (Apr 3)

Film - Elizabeth on Fox Movies at 11pm.

This is the England of 1554, but the veneer of traditional English composure and dignity has been stripped away. Fearing a challenge to her throne, Queen Mary I imprisons her half-sister, Princess Elizabeth Tudor in the Tower of London. But, when 'Bloody Mary' dies, Elizabeth is swept onto the throne and, at the age of 25, is crowned Queen. In order to survive, let alone rule, Elizabeth must suss out hidden agendas: the Court is rife with intrigue; military strategists are risking the lives of young Englishmen and the man she loves might not be worthy of her trust.

Film - Hearts in Atlantis on Fox Movies at 9pm.

In the summer of 1960, when Ted Brautigan moves into the boarding house where 11-year-old Bobby Garfield lives with his mother Liz, his presence instantly captures Bobby's attention. Since Bobby's father died when he was six, he is at first apprehensive of this strange man, but soon the two become friends. He asks Bobby to keep his eyes open and his senses sharp, for Ted has a magical power of insight which has led to him being hunted by shadowy figures. Meanwhile Bobby's life is changing too. His friendship with Carol has grown into something more. He is becoming aware that there is a bigger and darker world out there.

SUNDAY (Apr 5)

Documentary - Banged Up Abroad: Taiwan on NGA at 9.30pm.

This is a series of true horror stories abroad - when the trip of a lifetime turns into a journey to hell. South African diplomat McGill Alexander and his young family are living the highlife in Taipei. They have a luxury apartment and the family is growing up in exotic surroundings. But the good life is ripped apart by gunfire when notorious Chinese criminal, Chin Chen decides to make them pawns in a battle with the Taiwanese authorities.

MONDAY (Apr 6)

Film - Jack on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Jack Powell appears to be an average, middle-aged man - who plays with GI Joe and wears Power Ranger pyjamas - but Jack is only 10-years-old. He suffers from a genetic disorder that causes him to physically age four times faster than a normal person. Fearing ridicule from the outside world, Jack's parents have kept him secluded in their home. Now he's about to embark on the greatest adventure of his unusual life - he's about to enter the fifth grade.

TUESDAY (Apr 7)

Film - Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! on Fox Movies at 11pm.

Rosalee Futch is a grocery clerk living in rural West Virginia. But even a small-town girl can have big dreams and Rosalee's is to someday meet her big-screen idol Tad Hamilton. Her chance arrives in the form of a contest - the grand prize: a date with Tad Hamilton. Rosalee wins, much to the chagrin of her best friend and co-worker Pete, who is deeply, hopelessly - and secretly - in love with her. The 'Win a Date' contest was cooked up by Tad's agent and his manager.
