National carrier Gulf Air has entered into a long-term Fleet Management Programme (FMP) contract with Singapore's SIA Engineering Company Limited (SIAEC).
During a ceremony held at the Gulf Air HQ in Muharraq, board of directors chairman Talal Al Zain, SIAEC chairman Stephen Lee and other top officials from both companies applauded the agreement and underlined its importance.
Mr Al Zain said: "We have chosen SIAEC for their long-standing reputation in the aviation sector providing complete maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services in line-maintenance, airframe, component, engine, aircraft conversions and modifications to major airlines from four continents."
