Emmy-winner Jimmy Kimmel serves as host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live, ABC Television Network's distinctive late-night talk show.

The show features a diverse lineup of guests, including celebrities, athletes, comedians, politicians and human interest subjects. Along with a light-hearted and recognisable cast of characters, a hip house band and comedy bits in Kimmel's inimitable style, the show additionally offers one of the funniest, freshest monologues on television today, drawing from all forms of topical media.

Jimmy Kimmel Live often features elaborate, innovative stunts such as having notables like J J Abrams and Quentin Tarantino guest-direct an entire episode; taking the show to Detroit for a week of Super Bowl-themed shows; conducting a special episode from a hospital bed with interviews featuring the doctors on the staff of Grey's Anatomy, as they tended to Jimmy's snakebite wound and constructing a state-of-the-art performance stage in the centre of Hollywood Boulevard to showcase A-list music acts.

Jimmy Kimmel Live has featured such high profile guests as George Clooney, Britney Spears, Jennifer Garner, Robin Williams, Shaquille O'Neal, Clay Aiken, Eva Longoria, Eminem, Diane Sawyer, Jessica Alba, Simon Cowell, Kiefer Sutherland, Jack Black, Teri Hatcher, Sir Ian McKellen and Mariah Carey; plus musical guests Coldplay, 50 Cent, Foo Fighters, Blink 182, Destiny's Child, Gwen Stefani, Audioslave, Nelly, Motley Crue, Green Day, Barry Manilow, Franz Ferdinand, Lionel Richie, and Alanis Morissette.

Kimmel applies his irreverent wit to politics, television, the media, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), popular culture - everything is a target, including a weekly comedy segment called 'Unnecessary Censorship' which pokes fun at the FCC's crackdown on the media by unnecessarily censoring clips from TV news, political speeches, reality TV and nature shows. Other regular comedy segments include parking lot security guard Guillermo's Hollywood Gossip Round-up and adorably clueless Uncle Frank's coverage of red-carpet premieres.

Don't miss The Best of: Jimmy Kimmel Live! Mondays at 7.30pm.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Tuesdays to Saturdays at 10pm.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon made its broadcast debut on March 2, making Saturday Night Live alum Jimmy Fallon the third host of the NBC comedy-talk franchise.

The show serves as a platform for comedy, music and A-list talent out of NBC's Rockefeller Centre Studio 6B.

Fallon launched his Late Night video blog (or vlog) December 8, giving viewers behind-the-scenes access to his preparation for the show's official launch at www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com

In his first vlog, Fallon introduced his new house band - the critically acclaimed Grammy winning hip-hop band The Roots. Named one of the 20 greatest live acts in the world by Rolling Stone, The Roots bring their eclectic hip-hop sound to the new Late Night."

Since debuting online, Fallon also has introduced his studio announcer, shown off scale models of the new Late Night set, taken viewers backstage at some of his stand-up appearances, answered viewer questions in his weekly Ask Jimmy segment and introduced them to his family in upstate New York.

In addition, the vlogs have featured guest appearances from current SNL stars Fred Armisen (testing Fallon's interview skills while posing as a bad guest) and Will Forte (who offered to compose the show's theme song).

Fallon first garnered attention in 1998 when he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live and quickly became an audience favourite for his impressions of actors and musicians as well as creating many memorable recurring characters. In 2000, he became co-anchor of the popular segment Weekend Update alongside Tina Fey. Fallon went on to appear in the Emmy Award-winning miniseries Band of Brothers and made his feature-film debut in Almost Famous. He also had starring roles in Taxi and Fever Pitch.
