Formula One fans that can't make it down to BIC but still want to catch the action live on television can tune in to BTV, BTV Sports1 and BTV Sports2 at 3pm to watch the race in all its television glory. Saturday's practice session will be on between 11am and midday and the Saturday qualifier will start at 2pm. To check details and timings, log onto www.f1.com

If, on the other hand, Formula 1 fever is driving you mad and you want to watch anything but this Sunday, here's a selection of non motor racing television for you to distract yourself with.

On ShowCinema catch High School Musical 3: Senior Year every two hours until April 30.

This third instalment in the hugely popular HSM series finds the East High School gang facing new challenges as they prepare to graduate from high school and head off in different directions

With Troy and Chad both offered basketball scholarships to college and Gabriella invited to attend Stanford University, the students all join together with the Wildcats to stage a spectacular end of year musical and plan their prom.

Not surprisingly there are tears and thrills and lots of big song and dance numbers which should keep your mind anywhere but on the racing.

On Orbit Prime, The X Files, I Want To Believe is showing every two hours until May 1.

Mulder and Scully are back and it's six years since The X-Files series final in which former FBI agent Dr Dana Scully has become a hospital physician and is treating a young boy with a terminal brain condition.

FBI agent Drummy arrives seeking Scully's help in locating Fox Mulder, the fugitive former head of the X-Files division, and says that the FBI will call off its manhunt for him if he will help investigate the disappearances of several women, including young FBI agent Monica Bannan. Scully agrees and convinces Mulder to help.

The only clues to the disappearances are the grotesque human remains that begin to turn up in snow banks along the highway in rural Virginia.

Officials are desperate for any lead and a disgraced priest's questionable 'visions' send local police on a wild goose chase and straight to a bizarre secret medical experiment that may or may not be connected to the women's disappearance.

It's a case right out of The X-Files. But the FBI closed down its investigations into the paranormal years ago and it's clear the two super agents are the ones for the job.

For fans of the original series the film also makes reference to William, the son of Mulder and Scully, who was born at the end of the television series and is not mentioned anywhere else.

And on Fox Movies there's vintage drama with The Saint of Fort Washington, a slightly depressing story of homelessness in New York starring Danny Glover and Matt Dillon.

Elsewhere, just as the action is getting underway at the Bahrain International Circuit, you can catch the latest update from Prison Break on MBC Action where Season Three follows both Michael (Wentworth Miller) in prison and Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) on the outside of a brutal prison in Panama.

On Show Series there's Criminal Minds followed by Bones and Show Series Extra has The Shield followed by Battlestar Galactica.

On BBC Lifestyle, Sunday afternoon is foodie heaven with James Martin, Nigel Slater, Rick Stein and others all putting in an appearance.

On Show Comedy Teenage Kicks is at 2.30pm, followed by 30 Rock, Scrubs and Seinfeld. And if you really, really want to tune out Dr 90210 is on all afternoon and E Channel.
