The date has been announced for the next Bahrain Fashion Week (BFW) which will take place from May 19 to 22 at the elegant Jewellery Dome at Moda Mall.
The international event is again being organised by Lotus Pi Events following on from its debut show last December.
Aimed at promoting and establishing the kingdom as a prestigious fashion capital, not only in the GCC, but on a global scale, the event aims to bring together established and aspiring designers and fashion houses.
It will provide a single platform for international and regional participants to present their collections to global and regional buyers, fashion professionals and fashion enthusiasts.
Erin Pacoma of Lotus Pi Events said: "The first event was done mainly to introduce the concept of 'Fashion Week' in Bahrain. Being a well known and sought after international brand, we wanted Bahrain to bask in the glory of the world of fashion.
"The response was overwhelming as we had several immediate enquiries from top designers, models, buyers and beauty artists from around the world to be a part of the next event.
