Fashion week to be bigger and better

Bahrain Fashion Week kicks off on Tuesday at the elegant Jewellery Dome at Moda Mall.

Organised by Lotus Pi Events it will run through until Friday and promises to be bigger and better than last year's inaugural Fashion Week which aimed to put Bahrain on the international fashion map.

Various local designers, including Khaled Rajab and Noor Al Shaikh, will be exhibiting their lateest collections alongside international names such as Andre Tan from Ukraine, Larisa Katz from the Netherlands, Sarv Atelier from India, Heike Jarick from New York and Monica Paracha with Ajjo and Ali Fateh from Pakistan.

Students from the Royal University for Women will be showcasing their designs during the event.
