MORE than 40 graduates will be traveling between Bahrain and the USA this summer as part of a business internship programme.

AIESEC is the international platform for leadership development which provides corporates with an opportunity to place pre-screened quality graduates in their firms for two to 18 months. It offers university students and recent graduates a chance to go abroad on an international internship to develop their knowledge and skills and add value to their resumes.

During this summer, AIESEC plans to send and receive over 45 graduates between Bahrain and the US to work in areas such as marketing, finance, human resources, sales, IT and development studies.

Nada Ali, director of external relations for AIESEC Bahrain, said: "We work with over 4,000 organisations across the globe including Microsoft, PWC, DHL, Unilever and others. Our partners recognise AIESEC as a top provider of global talent, especially in the current times of economic unrest."
