Bahrain-based Menatelecom is planning to increase the number of its retail outlets after reporting that its subscriber base had 'exceeded expectations' since it was launched over five months ago.
An investment subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain, it is the first company in the world to launch a nationwide WiMAX 802.16e end-to-end network.
KFH - Bahrain executive manager Abdul Razak Jawahery, pictured below, representing KFH as vice chairman and managing director of Menatelecom, said: "We will expand our retail network to include a new branch in Isa Town within one month from now, and another branch in Muharraq the following month."
The company currently has five branches - at the Bahrain World Trade Centre, Bahrain Financial Harbour, Country Mall Budaiya, GOSI Complex and KFH Automall.
