Following its global debut at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year, the new BMW Z4 - a modern interpretation of the classic roadster design - has made its much anticipated arrival in Bahrain.

The new BMW roadster was launched at the Euro Motors showroom by BMW F1 Sauber team drivers Nick Heidfeld, Robert Kubica and Christian Klien who competed in the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. Hundreds of fans turned up to see their heroes at the launch, and take pictures and get autographs from the team members.

The BMW Z4 offers all the driving pleasure of a BMW Roadster with a seating position moved close to the rear axle, rear-wheel drive and an automatically retractable hardtop.

With a mere 20 seconds separating the thrill of open-air driving with the roof down and the comfort of a sporting coupŽ with the hard top closed, the BMW Z4 offers the ultimate in diversity and sheer driving pleasure in this premium motoring segment.

Commenting on the latest BMW model to arrive in Bahrain, Paul Yates, general manager, Euro Motors, said: "The BMW Z4 is an authentic roadster: sporty, stylish and like any BMW, a pleasure to drive. We are delighted to be able to offer our customers an even more exciting and exclusive motoring experience.
