wednesday (July 15) Film - The Perfect Storm on Fox Movies at 11pm.

Just days after returning from a disappointing fishing trip, Andrea Gail captain Billy Tyne (George Clooney) decides to return to the sea to trawl for swordfish one last time before the season ends. From the port of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Tyne and a five-man crew, including Bobby Shatford (Mark Walberg), set sail for the Flemish Cap. Out at sea, Tyne has to contend with not one but three weather fronts that unite to create the fiercest, most destructive storm of the 20th century!

After narrowly escaping, the family flees to Alaska. But when the President decides to wipe out Springfield in a nuclear blast, Homer embarks on a journey of redemption.

With the sudden death of his father, Charlie Price (Joel Edgerton) takes up the reins of the family's struggling, traditional shoe business. Looking to London for inspiration, Charlie discovers sassy drag queen Lola (Chiwetel Ejiofor), whose Soho world of outrageous fashion and stylish, erotic boots for men, gives him the idea to diversify production with women's boots for a male market. With only weeks to go until the crucial Milan Shoe Fair, Lola has the factory in full swing replacing bronzed suede with leopard skins.

SUNDAY (July 19).

Film - Outsourced on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Todd Anderson (Josh Hamilton) manages a customer call centre for American novelty products in Seattle. That is until his job - and his entire office - are outsourced to India. Adding insult to injury, Todd must travel to India to train his new replacement. Expecting the worst, he arrives in Bombay and experiences cross-cultural conflicts as he tries to teach his new colleagues about the American way of life. It is through his team of quirky yet likeable Indian call-centre workers that Todd realises that he too has a lot to learn.

MONDAY (July 20)

Documentary - By Any Means: Vietnam to Indonesia on NGC at 10pm.

Charley and the team are stranded on the rocky Vietnamese waters after a wave kills their boat engine. Loud screaming fails to alert a passing boat to their plight, but a nearby fishing boat comes to the rescue. Behind the wheel of a US military jeep, Charley visits Vietnamese villages that bear scars of the Vietnam War. In Laos, Charley drives a local songthaew, ferrying passengers around on a neighbourhood route. Cameraman Mungo catches back up with the boys in Thailand, and Charley becomes the first man to travel from Malaysia to Singapore via wakeboard.

TUESDAY (July 21)

Film - Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

In this sequel to the 2005 blockbuster, the Fantastic Four have returned to leading normal lives. While Reed Richards (Ioan Gruffudd) and Sue Storm (Jessica Alba) are about to tie the knot, the rock-like Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis) has settled down with his girlfriend and the fiery Johnny Storm (Chris Evans) has become one of New York's most eligible bachelors. But when the alien Silver Surfer arrives on Earth and starts wreaking havoc around the globe, the Four learn they're not the only ones with super powers.
