An environmental workshop on 'Sustainable Consumption' is being organised as part of the sixth annual Environmental Treasure Hunt held under the patronage of Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of the Public Commission for the Protection of Marine Resources, Environment and Wildlife. It will be led by Zainab Humaidan and Royaa Tariq, representing the United Nations Environment Programme certified Environmental Citizenship Programme of Bahrain Women Association - for Human Development. It will be held at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

The sixth annual Environmental Treasure Hunt will take place in November 2009 under the theme 'Changing Behaviour Towards the Environment' and is being organised by Eventscom with the support of the commission and the Bahrain Women's Society.
