wednesday (July 29) Film - Greetings from the Shore on Cinema City at 7pm.

Drawn from the coming-of-age experiences of writer Gabrielle Berberich, this movie is part memoir, part fairytale. It was shot on an island off the coast of New Jersey, in the same seaside town where the real events occurred to Berberich. Still reeling from the death of her father, a young girl spends one last summer at the Jersey Shore before going to college. But when her plans fall apart, she stumbles into a world of Russian sailors, high-stakes gambling and unexpected love.

THURSDAY (July 30)

Animation - Ice Age on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Set 20,000 years ago as the Ice Age approaches, the seemingly anti-social Manny, a woolly mammoth (voiced by Ray Romano), behaves as if he just wants to be left alone. When he meets Sid (voiced by John Leguizamo), a sloth, the two become unlikely travelling companions. The plot thickens when they find a human infant and try to return it to its 'herd'. Diego (voiced by Denis Leary), a saber-tooth tiger with ulterior motives, soon joins them in their search. This group of misfits eventually about friendship.

FRIDAY (July 31)

Working as a waitress in a roadside diner, Jenna (Keri Russell) finds joy in creating new pies, each one inspired by incidents in her life. Trapped in a loveless marriage to a jealous control freak (Jeremy Sisto), her life becomes more complicated when she learns she's pregnant. But when she meets the town's new doctor (Nathan Fillion), Jenna sees new possibilities for her life. With support and the love of her friends and co-workers, Jenna gains the courage to create the life she's always dreamed of.

SATURDAY (August 1)

Film - House on Haunted Hill on Fox Movies at 11pm.

Unspeakable things happened at the Vannacutt Psychiatric Institute for the Criminally Insane, experiments that brought human torture to new depths of depravity... secrets that died with their victims and the practitioners of the demonic acts that masqueraded as medicine. Now there are no living witnesses. Nothing survived Dr Vannacutt's excesses except the building in which they occurred. But that building holds all the secrets of its terrible past. Decades after the Vannacutt Institute was shuttered; five strangers are invited to spend a night there. Their reward is a million dollars each. All they have to do is stay alive. It's going to be a long night.

Steve Everett (Clint Eastwood), a journalist with a passion for women and alcohol, is sent to cover the upcoming execution of murderer Frank Beachum (Isaiah Washington). Bob Findley, Steve's boss and husband to his current affair, wants him dead and gone as soon as possible. When Steve stumbles across the possibility of Frank Beachum being innocent, Bob feels his time to have come. Now Steve only has a few hours left to prove Frank's innocence, as he will be history if he's not.

Film - The Skulls on Fox Movies at 11pm.

For Luke McNamara (Joshua Jackson), an invitation to join the prestigious secret college organisation, The Skulls, is a dream come true. Unlike many of his classmates, Luke gained admission to the Ivy covered halls through hard work and student loans. His growing affection for his close friend Chloe is tempered by the realisation that he can never hope to be accepted by her wealthy family. Overnight, Luke's fortunes change when he is 'tapped' for entry into the highly selective secret society known as The Skulls. The clandestine organisation holds some dark secrets worth keeping.

TUESDAY (August 4)

Film - Pirates of the Carribean, Dead man's Chest on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) returns for another round of supernatural adventures. As Will (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) prepare to exchange vows, their wedding plans hit rough waters with the arrival of Captain Sparrow, who owes a blood debt to Davy Jones (Bill Nighy). The only way for Sparrow to elude the wrath of Jones is to find Gypsy queen Tia Dalma (Naomie Harris). Since she has the power to resurrect the dead and gaze into the future, she may provide the advantage he needs.
