Batelco has launched e-billing as part of its ongoing service enhancements.
Batelco is the first company in the kingdom to offer to send electronic bills directly to their customers' email accounts.
"e-billing is a crucial step in taking the lead in serving our customers electronically," said Batelco Group general manager media and government relations Ahmed Al Janahi.
'e-billing' is simply about receiving your bills online instead of through the post. The free service allows customers to access their bills at anytime online as well as receiving their monthly bill directly to their email account. Customers also have the option to pay their bills by credit or debit card.
To activate e-billing visit www.e-services.com.bh click on the link for e-billing and follow the directions. To stop receiving a paper copy of your bill through the post, it is also necessary to disable your copy by ticking the box 'stop printing bills' on the same e-billing page. Unless customers disable their paper bill, they will continue to receive a copy in the post as well as to their email.
For customers who have not previously used Batelco's e-services is it necessary to register with a user name and password - once only.
"This is just one step in our ongoing improvement of e-services. We have recently redesigned e-services page to make it clear and user-friendly. We urge all our customers to check it out and join us in our efforts to 'Go Green'," added Mr Al Janahi.
