The Art House returns with monthly workshops for children aged six to 12 years starting September on Sundays and Tuesdays at its premises in Saar.
Cheney Fairchild, British artist and owner of The Art House will be offering limited places on the four-week course on learning how to throw and turn on the potter's wheel. Children will have a go at making bowls and objects of various shapes alongside learning basic turning and glazing techniques.
Sunday sessions include September 6, 13, 20 and 27 and Tuesday sessions include September 8, 15, 22 and 29. Timings are 2.30pm to 4pm for Session 1 and 4.30pm to 6pm for session two on both days. Rates are BD45. For details contact Cheney on 39987802 or visit the website at www.cheneyfairchild.com
Studio Ceramics in Budaiya is introducing a new Saturday morning club - the Groovy Gecko Club, for children between six and 11 years from the September 26 from 10am to 1pm. activities include cool crafts, play with clay, creative cooking, ceramic painting, games, prizes and more.
