Wednesday (Aug 26)Film - The Brave One on Xtra Movies at 9.30pm. How many wrongs to make it right? Starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams, take a surreal tour of the British Isles in this comedy sketch show, adapted from an award-winning radio series, as it looks at life in the new millennium by following the lives of some extraordinary and sometimes sinister folk.

Meet Emily, an unconvincing transvestite, Jason, who is passionately in love with his best friend's grandmother, and Daffyd, the only gay man in his village (and that's the way he wants to keep it!), to name just a few of the quirky characters.

Film - Nights in Rodanthe on Xtra Movies at 11pm

It's never too late for a second chance. At 45, Adrienne Willis (Diane Lane) must rethink her entire life when her husband abandons her for a younger woman. She flees to the small coastal town of Rodanthe, North Carolina. But when a major storm starts moving in, it appears that Adrienne's perfect getaway will be ruined, until a guest named Paul Flanner (Richard Gere) arrives. At 54, Paul has come to Rodanthe to escape his own shattered past. Now, with a storm closing in, two wounded people will turn to each other for comfort.

Food Lovers Guide To the Planet 2: Turkish Delights on NGA at 5.30pm.

'Gourmet's Diary of a Foodie' is a one-stop series where for 30 minutes viewers will become globetrotting travellers and learn about the culinary world. Eschewing the rigidity of the traditional food host and in-studio shooting methods, the series will feature Ruth Reichl and several other gourmet editors for on-air introductions to various travel and culinary segments. Gathering for the Ramadan Iftar feast, HŸlya Eksigil and her friends lead us on a culinary journey through every course.

SUNDAY (Aug 30)

Docu/Drama - The People Speak (2009) on Super Movies at 11pm.

The People Speak is a documentary inspired by Howard Zinn's book, A People's History of the United States and from the book he co-authored with Anthony Arnove, Voices of a People's History. The film brings together accomplished performers like Marisa Tomei, Josh Brolin, Viggo Mortensen, Sandra Oh and Eddie Vedder, to re-create the emotional impact of these moments in history. These slices of life are woven together with historical footage, music and narrations from Ben Affleck and Howard Zinn.

MONDAY (Aug 31)

Film - Street Kings on Xtra Movies at 11.30pm.

Their city. Their rules. No prisoners. Keanu Reeves stars as Tom Ludlow, a veteran LAPD cop who finds life difficult to navigate after the death of his wife. When evidence implicates him in the execution of a fellow officer, he is forced to go up against the cop culture he's been a part of his entire career, ultimately leading him to question the loyalties of everyone around him. Their intention is often to deal with crime in a manner that they perceive to be more efficient, which leads them to routinely lie, falsify reports and manipulate evidence to cover up for their crimes.

TUESDAY (Sep 1)

Series - Greek on Fox Series at midnight

Greek takes a look at one college freshman Rusty as he sets out to reinvent himself after being academically focused during his high school years. Rusty believes that he has missed out on all the fun and wants to live a different lifestyle in college. Turns out, he is attending the same college as his sister Casey who is very well known on campus. As these two navigate their way through the fraternity and sorority life, their previously non-existent relationship becomes intertwined as Rusty joins the fun.
