LADIES in general are not known for their lack of chat ... but to speak confidently in public might need a little tuition.

The Angels Toastmasters Club, the only all-ladies toastmasters association on the island, is hoping to welcome new expat and local women on board.

Vice-president (membership) Jayshree Sharma, said: "We are calling out to ladies of dynamic thinking, both expats as well as Bahrainis, who are concerned about expressing themselves in public or perhaps even at home with their children.

"The club provides a vibrant platform for ladies to give them courage to face a crowd. It is an informative, fun and entertaining place to meet new people, as well as a great opportunity to remove any inhibitions they may have about social gatherings."

The Angels Toastmasters Club, which was formed four years ago, holds meetings at the Salman Cultural Centre in Gudaibya every second and fourth Saturday of a month from 4.15pm to 6.15pm.
