Dear Stan, Thanks so much for the lovely piece in last week's GulfWeekly (pages 16 & 17), can't say the same for the front page. That wasn't very kind was it? We thought it might have said something like, 'head over heels for the BSPCA'.

My mum always taught me, that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. I'd never have made a reporter, would I?

We have had to change the Dog Walk date to November 13. Is there any chance of getting that in, or even a large statement of 'DATE CHANGE', something like that?

It was a glorious day last year, attracted 400 people and raised thousands of dinars for the charity.

Joyce Hughes,

Fundraising Co-ordinator,

BSPCA.

Editor's note: DATE CHANGE: Happy to help - even if you didn't like my 'Crash, bang, wallop' front page. The 4k walk starts at 11am from the BSPCA site at Askar, near Alba, on November 13. It costs BD10 for every dog participating and a sanctuary mutt can be booked on 17591231. Sponsorship forms are available by visiting www.bspca.org

Dear Stan,

Permit me to point out a small error in your reporting in last week's GulfWeekly headlined 'Gotta have faith'. You are wrong to say The Very Rev Chris Butt is the leader of the Christian community. It should have been the Anglican community, the Christian community is too large and Anglicans are around 10 per cent only.

A.J.Thomas,

Bahrain.
