Sattam Algosaibi won the trip of a lifetime on a chartered yacht after winning an ART Marine-sponsored golf tournament at the Royal Golf Club with 42 stableford points.

Waleed Al Alawi came second with 41 points while Jin Kwon Namkoong finished third with 39.

The event was played on the Club's Montgomerie championship course in a tricky format where competitors had to tee off from hard black tees and easier red tees on alternate holes, making the players see the course in an entirely different light.

"In normal competitions, our members usually play from the gold tees," explained Phil Jones, the club's director of golf. "However, given that ART Marine had provided such fantastic prizes we decided to create a bit more of a challenge for this event with the alternating tees."

The voucher for the sunset cruise onboard a luxury yacht was presented to Mr Algosaibi by ART Marine representative Shaikh Hamad bin Rashid Al Khalifa.

ART Marine also provided goodie bags for nearest the pin competitions on the 7th and 12th holes which were won by Suzanna Hobday and Jason Smith respectively.
