As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, the Filipino Club in Bahrain a series of events has been planned including the 14th annual Miss Philippines Bahrain.

The event is organised to help boost the club's 'Mabuhay Project' aimed to purchase land and build its own Club House.

It will feature various sights of Filipino culture, tradition as well as fashion and glamour.

Special awards during the pageant include Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic, Miss Talent, Best Swimwear, Best Casual Wear, Best Evening Gown, Miss Mobitel, Best Make Up and Best Hairstyle.

On November 30, the club will host a Fashion Show prior to Miss Philippines Bahrain 2009 at Ramada Palace Hotel, Gudaibya.

December 4 will host a celebration party of the club's 30th anniversary at the Andalus Garden, Gudaibiya.

A talent competition will be held on December 10 and a swimsuit competition on December 11 at the Al Safir Hotel, Juffair.

The Coronation Night of Miss Philippines Bahrain 2009 will be held on December 18 at the ballroom of Ramada Palace Hotel.
