CPI Financial, publisher of Islamic Business & Finance magazine, has announced it will be hosting the annual Islamic Business and Finance Awards to highlight the phenomenal performance of the Islamic finance industry, particularly during times of economic instability.
The awards is set to take place on December 14 under the patronage of Dubai International Financial Centre.
Nigel Rodrigues, CEO of CPI Financial, said: "Islamic finance proves to be the most promising financial sector today.
"Throughout the global economic crisis, the combined assets of Islamic banks continued to soar relative to the private banks."
The awards, aimed at honouring the exceptional performance of Islamic finance organisations, include best Islamic bank, Islamic banker of the year and lifetime achievement.
