MORE THAN 300 leading economists representing many countries in the Middle East took part in a two-day insurance forum in Bahrain.
Under the patronage of Rasheed Al Maraj, Governor of Central Bank of Bahrain, and organised by the Central Bank of Bahrain and Bahrain Insurance Association, the sixth annual Middle East Insurance Forum took place at the Gulf Hotel.
Ashraf Bseisu, chairman of the Bahrain Insurance Association and chairman of Arab Insurance Union, said: "The forum enabled us to develop strategies to mitigate the impact of the financial crisis and discuss changes in various techniques in this industry."
