Wednesday (Feb 10)Film - Hackers on Star Movies at 8.30pm. Dade (Johnny Lee Miller), a young computer whiz, meets a group of misfits and rich kids who hack into computer systems for fun. Meanwhile, a notorious corporate hacker known as The Plague is using his expertise to drain funds from corporate bank accounts and transferring the money to his own. When one of Dade's crew is framed by The Plague and arrested for spreading a virus, the others band together in an attempt to bring down his devious plans to release a virus that could wipe out the Internet.

Everyday there is a war being waged on America's inner city streets - a war between residents, drug dealers and the people sworn to protect one from the other. This war has its casualties, none greater than LAPD Detective Sergeant Alonzo Harris (Denzel Washington), a 13-year veteran narcotics officer whose questionable methodology blurs the line between legality and corruption. Crime tale shadows Alonzo as he tests the resolve of wide-eyed, idealistic rookie Jake Hoyt (Ethan Hawke), who has only one day to prove himself to his fiercely charismatic superior. Over the next 24-hours, Jake will be pulled deeper and deeper into the ethical mire of Alonzo's logic as both men put their lives and careers on the line.

Lucy (Sandra Bullock) is a happy-go-lucky ticket seller in love with a commuter she does not know. One day, the man is mugged and lapses into a coma. But when Lucy goes to visit him at the hospital, the nurse mistakes her identity and informs the victim's family that Lucy is his fiancŽe. She doesn't have the heart to tell the family the truth, and gets into even more trouble when she falls in love with the victim's brother (Bill Pullman).

MONDAY (Feb 15)

Film - Insomnia on Fox Movies at 11pm.

A psychological thriller centering on Will Dormer (Al Pacino), a veteran LAPD detective who travels to a small Alaskan town with his partner Hap to investigate the disturbing murder of a 17-year-old girl. Under the glare of the region's perpetual daylight, Dormer and Hap close in on the primary suspect, reclusive novelist Walter Finch. During a tense stakeout, Finch slips into the mist and out of Dormer's grasp. Unable to find respite from the relentless Midnight Sun or his own distorted judgment, the detective finds his stability gravely threatened.

TUESDAY (Feb 16)

Film - Invasion of the Body Snatchers on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

In this remake of the 1956 horror classic, biologist Elizabeth Driscoll (Adams) notices that recently, her boyfriend has not been himself. When she turns to her friend and colleague Matthew Bennell (Donald Sutherland), he convinces her to see his friend Dr Kibner (Leonard Nimoy), a pop psychologist who argues that the problem is all in Elizabeth's head. Soon, though, Matthew and Elizabeth begin to notice that people all over the city are changing subtly and inexplicably.
