Day at the races

An international luxury fashion retailer in Bahrain has put together a 'winning look' for GulfWeekly readers attending the Formula One race weekend.

Saks Fifth Avenue fashion team dressed GulfWeekly reader and mother-of-two, Honey Jaffery, in their latest designer wear collection that they say is glamorous and perfectly in tune with the warm daytime temperature of Bahrain.

The Saks team selected a cool Italian silk top from American designer, Ralph Lauren's Black Label, which wraps around the back and ties in the front or back for versatility. The colourful sleeveless top vibrates spring and matches beautifully with Ralph Lauren white pants or a pair of white skinny jeans.

Although the Saks team paired the look with Hollywood's favourite French designer Christian Louboutin's Macarena patent leather wedge with more than a five-inch heel they insist that the double platform makes them comfortable to wear it - even for long hours. The outfit is perfectly accessorised with Hollywood's hottest new accessory designer, CC SKYE's bangle in white and gold. The bangle epitomises the true 'IT' girl style.

The look is completed with a detailed bright red Italian lambskin Rafe Zoe flap clutch that complements the silk blouse, makes a fashion statement and is also the colour of the popular Ferrari team.

Mrs Jaffery, 28, from Saar, said: "The look is very trendy, colourful and comfortable - perfect for an outdoor event. I would definitely wear this fashion forward look if I were going to the race as it has a 'wow factor' that would make me stand out!"
