SCHOOLBOY songwriter Christian Trzebinski may be bringing a festive note to Talent Trail 2010 with a little ditty he wrote entitled Christmas Again.
The British School of Bahrain pupil was inspired and encouraged to sing during visits to Bahrain by his late-grandma Barbara and after taking vocal training the 11-year-old set about learning to play the piano.
"Now he sits down, tingles the keys and comes up with his own compositions," said proud dad, Ziggy, 53, a consultant. "He's always singing!"
Christian, from Banijamrah, even performed one of his own songs at his dad's party in front of a packed house of friends. Christmas Again is a sad love song about a boy missing his girlfriend and another of his catchy tunes is called Seven Seas and tells a tale of travelling the world.
His mum, Roberta, runs Pilates sessions in Diraz and an army of fit mums who attend Studio RCT will be cheering on the youngster as he performs live on Bahrain TV's Channel 55.
Christian, a keen drummer too, also has a classic Blue Brothers number up his sleeve so he may decide on a rockier presentation ... viewers will find out which song he has chosen by tuning in tonight.
GulfWeekly has joined up with the English language station of the nation to undercover the kingdom's most promising entertainer.
We will highlight every contestant invited to appear on the Talent Trail 2010 segment of presenter Krazy Kevin's Music Mania chart show.
Readers and viewers will be able to vote in a special final edition of the programme and the contestant who receives the most cast will walk away with a prize trophy.
A panel of invited judges will be invited to comment on the recorded performances ... but it will be your email vote that counts.
Catch the show at 8pm. It will be repeated on Friday and Sunday at 9pm too. Presenter Krazy Kevin said: "I'm delighted GulfWeekly has come on board for Bahrain's first-ever televised talent competition. I have been amazed at the interest Talent Trail 2010 has generated and there certainly appears to be many performers in the kingdom with the K Factor!"
The contest is open to all nationalities and ALL ages, you simply have to be a resident of Bahrain and be a solo act. If you can dance, sing, perform magic or tell a few jokes email krazykevin@hotmail.com for your chance of stardom.
