Human resource development professionals are being urged to join a group of delegates from the Bahrain Society of Training and Development (BSTD), a non-profit professional society, on a three-day training workshop in London.
The 39th International Federation of Training and Development (IFTDO) World Conference will be held in London's Olympia from April 20-22.
The society's international relations director Gopika Beri said: "This is a great opportunity for showcasing Bahrain and the region's human resource skills on a global stage whilst also networking and learning from leaders in this field and other professionals."
The IFTDO represents more than half a million professionals representing 50 countries.
Eight members of the BSTD will be present including Mrs Beri, former chairman of IFTDO and CEO and executive advisor to BSTD Board Ebrahim Al Dossary, board member of IFTDO and BSTD president Hussain Ismail, BSTD vice-president Mohammed Mahmood, BSTD board director Fathia Al Alawi, IFTDO member and Gulf Air director of Human Resources Ahmed Al Banna, Duty Free head of marketing and Bahrain International Retail Development Centre general manager Adel Redha, Gulf Air head of Training and Development Suhair Khalfan alongside BSTD members and HR experts.
Mrs Beri explained that the main objective of BSTD, which was established in 1979, was to help accelerate the development of workers in the field of human resource.
She said: "We offer guidance to individuals who are seeking the best HR practices at both national and international levels."
