DANCER Saniya Chadha is following in the footsteps of her mother and hopes to set the TV screens ablaze as she grooves to the beats of Bollywood sounds on Bahrain Channel 55 tonight.
Mother Nandini Chadha, 39, a media production company manager, said: "The K Factor is a great opportunity for children to showcase their creative skills.
"Saniya has been earnestly preparing for the programme. She will perform two dances to popular Indian hits, 'aaja nachle' and 'dance pe chance'."
Originally from Delhi, India, Mrs Chadha, now lives in Sanad, and is trained in the ancient Indian dance form, kathakali.
Saniya, a student at Sacred Heart School, began learning Indian classical dances bharatanatyam and kuchipudi under the guidance of professionally trained teacher, Girija.
For the show, however, Saniya has chosen to perform to songs from Indian movies which exhibit a more contemporary, vibrant and energetic dance moves.
Mrs Chadha said: "My main focus is for Saniya to build her confidence for pubic performances as well as enhance her talents further."

We will highlight every contestant invited to appear on the Talent Trail 2010 segment of presenter Krazy Kevin's Music Mania chart show.
Readers and viewers will be able to vote in a special final edition of the programme and the contestant who receives the most cast will walk away with a prize trophy.
A panel of invited judges will be invited to comment on the recorded performances ... but it will be your email vote that counts.
Catch the show at 8pm. It will be repeated on Friday and Sunday at 9pm too. The contest is open to all nationalities and ALL ages, you simply have to be a resident of Bahrain and be a solo act.
