The Bahrain Horse Society has been created to bring together the equestrian community as a whole in Bahrain.
The president is prominent horse community member Fawzi Nass, and the general-secretary is one of the founder members of the original society, June Al Saffar.
The society's plans include cultivating relationships with equestrian lovers across the country, to conduct surveys, set up channels of communication with local and official bodies and to examine issues on the equestrian agenda.
