Seef Mall will be transformed into a 'fashionista's paradise' over two weekends - this coming Friday and Saturday as well as May 27 and 28 - when the mall highlights the extensive range of brands available in many of its stores.
It is the first-ever fashion parade to be held at the popular shopping destination featuring international and locally designed clothes and accessories.
The four-day event will feature 25 models, including children and teenagers, who will walk the ramp and parade around the mall premises from 6pm to 8pm displaying the latest fashion collections of the participating brands.
Organisers promise an event 'with a difference' with the models posing at different locations in the mall - on escalators and walkways, at a special press podium near the customer service desk and as live mannequins in various shops and outlets.
The event will be hosted by radio and TV personality Krazy Kevin and MC and musician Tony Attalla and five strategically-placed DJ stands across the mall playing music to entertain guests and visitors.
Nivedita Dhadphale, of Seef Mall, said: "We are known both locally and internationally as Bahrain's ideal entertainment-and-shopping destination for the entire family. What makes us top-class is our range of outlets that house world-renowned retail, fashion and jewellery brands.
"We are confident the fashion show will focus attention on these brands and provide visitors the opportunity to see the latest fashion and jewellery collections and trends, both local and international.
"We have held various kinds of exciting promotions and community events but this is the first time we are hosting a fashion parade on this scale and we are truly excited at the prospect.
"We hope visitors will enjoy the spectacle of models sashaying around the mall premises to pulsating music during the two weekends in May."
Running in tandem with the fashion show is the 'Shop & Win' raffle extravaganza until June 25. The raffle will offer visitors a chance to win shopping vouchers worth a total of BD20,000 as well as three Mini Cooper cars.
Shoppers receive a coupon for every BD20 they spend on purchases across all retail outlets in the mall, including the food court, cinema and Magic Island, which they can drop in a 'Big Win Box' at the customer service counters at Gate number 4 and Gate number 3 to qualify for the draws. Draws will take place on May 28, June 4, 11, 18 and 25.
