Music and Stage for Kids (MASK) will present the Wizard of Oz at the British Club from May 27 to 29 at 7pm. A matinee performance will take place at 2.30pm on May 28. The second Horlicks Quest 2010 will be held for children of age group 12 to 16 years on May 28 at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Diamond Jubilee Hall in Suqayya.

A cultural event Palakkadan Vela 2010 will be held at the Indian School Auditorium in Isa Town on May 28 from 10am to 8pm. The event is held to highlight a colourful harvest festival that is celebrated widely in Palakkad, Kerala, showcasing a variety of folklores. Fifteen artists from Kerala will perform a traditional orchestra and folk music.
Chief Guest of the event will be Sankara Narayanan, Governor of West Indian state Maharashtra. Two cooks will be flown in from Kerala offering traditional cuisines. Art of Living Bahrain Chapter will organise a blood donation camp on May 28 at the Salmaniya Hospital from 7.30am to 12.30pm for people aged 18 to 60.
Donors should be in reasonably good health and must not have donated blood in the last three months. CPR cards and passport size photographs are required.
