The Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority (BECA) will stage the third annual Food and Hospitality Expo from February 8-10, 2011, at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre in Sanabis.
This year's event attracted 4,000 visitors and 91 exhibitors and organisers believe it will continue to grow in popularity.
Mahesh S Bhatia, project manager of BECA, said: "This is most certainly a reflection of the stability and growth of Bahrain's economy."
The event will also attract an international audience of buyers, retailers, distributors and F&B professionals to facilitate deals between buyers and sellers, importers and exporters worldwide.
Mr Bhatia added: "The people of Bahrain are well known for their generous hospitality and we are no strangers to good food in the kingdom, which features some of the best hotels and restaurants in the Gulf region. By bringing together industry professionals, it is BECA's intention to develop opportunities for growth for the industry and for the kingdom."
The expo has launched new products and enhancements since its commencement.
