A BAHRAIN Polytechnic delegation met with. Mohammed Mahmood, chief operating officer of Alba and other members of the management team to discuss possible areas of co-operation that will benefit both organisations.

The delegates were led by Dr Chris Coutts, executive director of Academic, Kent Farrell, director of marketing and liaison, and other members of the polytechnic's marketing, industry liaison and academic affairs teams.

During the meeting, Dr. Coutts explained the crucial role Bahrain Polytechnic will play in making the Economic Vision 2030, as outlined by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB), a reality.

"Establishing partnerships with renowned organisations is vital for the success of Bahrain Polytechnic. The vision is to prepare work-ready graduates who can contribute to and benefit from the economic transformation of the Kingdom of Bahrain."

Alba also discussed the possibilities of forming joint committees, focus groups, research and development, work integrated learning and exchange programmes with Bahrain Polytechnic.
