Visiting one of Bahrain's top shopping destinations - Bahrain City Centre - has been made easier for tourists following the launch of a free hotel shuttle bus service.
Guests staying at six of Bahrain's leading hotels, including the Gulf Hotel, Mercure Grand, Novotel, Sheraton, Diplomat Radisson Blu and the Crowne Plaza can hop on to a complimentary shuttle service that will transport them to and from Bahrain City Centre (BCC) at scheduled times throughout the day.
General manager Ray Scott said: "As Bahrain's leading shopping destination, Bahrain City Centre is proud to be the first mall in Bahrain to offer this service. We want the island's tourists to experience all the country has to offer, and shopping features high on the agenda.
"This complimentary service will make it much easier for tourists to visit the mall without the inconvenience of arranging alternate transportation.
"The new service will run seven days a week between 10am and 6.30 pm."
Meanwhile, BCC has announced a raft of promotions for the summer months, including a 'fun pass' package to all the leisure facilities in the mall and a chance for four families to holiday and experience the magic of Disneyland, Paris.
The 'fun pass', which will be available at a discounted price, from the mall's ground floor customer service desk until August 7, will allow a single entry to the Wahooo! waterpark, Cineco 20 Cinema (including popcorn and a regular Pepsi), Magic Planet and bowling at Magic Planet. Each pass package includes a 'city cash mall' voucher worth BD10 for adults and BD5 for children.
Visitors can use the 'fun pass' package tickets on any day until September 30.
In another promotion, customers who spend BD20 or more at any of the mall's retail, food and beverage outlets have the chance to enter a competition, which will send a family of four - two adults and two children - on a five nights' holiday to Disneyland, Paris.
The mall offers a world-class experience for shoppers of all ages. Host to 350 exclusive brands and retailers, Wahooo! Waterpark, Magic Planet, Cineco 20 Cinema and a selection of more than 50 food outlets.
