THIS weekend's action at the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park's 'Dive In Movies' extravaganza begins with The Spiderwick Chronicles, which will be screened on Friday followed by Stardust on Saturday.
In the adventure The Spiderwick Chronicles twin brothers Jared and Simon move into the run-down Spiderwick Estate with their sister Mallory and their mother. They find themselves pulled into an alternate world full of fairies and other creatures. Unable to explain the strange disappearances and accidents that seem to be happening on a daily basis, the family blames it all on Jared.
In Saturday's fantasy-adventure, Stardust, A boy becomes a man when he ventures through a hole in an old wall inpursuit of a fallen star, to prove his love for the village beauty. The star is no lump of rock, it's a beautiful woman called Yvaine. But the young man is not the only one looking for her. Three witches want her heart to make them young and the sons of the dead king of Stormhold want her because she holds a ruby that will make one of them king.
The popular 'Dive In' movies were launched last year for visitors to watch family films while also experiencing the rides and picturesque environment.
The 7pm screenings are included in the entrance price of BD14 for adults and BD5 for children less than 1.2 metres tall.
