Saturday (August 28) The Lost Paradise of Dilmun attraction will be hosting a Gergaoon featuring a host of entertainment including traditional Arabic band Dabdoob, competitions and prizes for families, a special Ramadan buffet and traditional Arabic gifts for visitors. LPOD opens its doors week days during Ramadan from 7pm to 1am, Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 1am. Ticket price during Ramadan is BD10 for visitors over 1.2m and BD5 for children under 1.2m. Sunday (Aug 29)

Art Select in collaboration with The Courtyard Bahrain opens an art exhibition, 'Reflections - a Ramadan Retrospective' at the Al Ghazal Ballroom at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa. It runs until August 31. Local and international artists displaying their work include Ahmad Khan, Jamil Naqsh, RM Naeem, Suchi Chidambaram, Asad Faruki, Sunil Das, Samiah Faridi, Astrid De Menezes, Faiza Shaikh, Suhas Roy, Najat Makki, and Abdul Qadir Al Rais, Hussain Fateel, Abdulilah Arab, Daria Blizhenskaya and Mazarine Memon. A part of the art sale profits will be donated to the Alia Centre for Autism. The event will open today from 8.30pm till midnight, and from 10am until 1pm and 5pm until 11pm on the following days. Tuesday (Aug 31)

The Mad Science Ramadan Camp will run until September 2, Sunday-Thursday, 10am-1pm for children aged six and above held at the Studio Ceramics on Budaiya Highway. Each day includes a new Mad Science topic presented with fun, interactive experiments and a Mad Science educational science take-home. Entry fee is BD15 per day or BD60 per week.
