SUSAN Scott became the first lady to win at Awali Golf Club this season after clinching the Pan Gulf Medal Competition - the first medal round of the season - with a nett 66.
Diab Sagar Al Noaimi was the best gross winner among the 94 other competitors, who had to overcome challenging conditions.
Some remarkable scores were recorded as Scott, from Saar, reduced her handicap from 28 to 26 following her below par winning round. Other results - Ladies Nearest the pin: Emma Boyd; Gents Nearest the pin: David Jeffery (hole in one).
