LEADING consumer store Ashrafs unveiled its latest showroom in addition to an exclusive outlet for Swiss-made watch brand, Swatch, at the west extension of Seef Mall last week, writes Shilpa Chandran.
Dr Hassan Fakhro, Minister of Industries and Commerce, officially inaugurated the two adjacent outlets in the presence of Farouk Yousif Almoayyed, chairman of YK Almoayyed and Sons, Amal Yousif Almoayyed, executive director of Ashrafs, Mazen Al Umran, managing director of MACE Consulting Engineers, senior managers from YK Almoayyed & Sons as well as guests.
Ashrafs marketing manager Dileep S said: "This is our third shop at the Seef Mall and our 10th on the island. We have added more photographic products in the store and the response we have received at the mall has been very good.
"With the new store, we once again uphold the visions of our proprietors who were determined to maintain our reputation as the leading distributor of high quality products in the kingdom."
The store features an exclusive collection including Bose multimedia entertainment systems and an array of photographic equipment from Nikon as well as other brands including Gigaset, Mascagni and Casio.
The new store also features a Noritsu photo processing lab, which makes pictures in panoramic sizes instantly, delivering high quality prints in conventional sizes. Customers can also bring in their photographs and make their 'own albums' according to a preferred theme.
The Swatch outlet displays the brand's latest 'gents collection' featuring 10 trendy models that boasts artistic design, fashionable colours and rugged, sporty materials perfect for active males.
