AUDI enthusiasts will be able to sample some of the delights of the marque's flagship model - the A8 L Quattro - when it is placed on display at Moda Mall today.
As reported recently in MotoringWeekly, the starting price of the vehicle is BD38,000 but the A8 model likely to be on show will cost BD55,000.
With a long wheelbase, its designers say it will set new standards of luxury, dynamism and efficiency in the top automobile manufacturing league.
The Audi A8 L will boast an 372 hp 4.2 litre V8 engine with eight-speed tiptronic and quattro four-wheel drive, but will be available with further engines in 2011.
An Audi spokesman said: "The car is on display for 11 days at the mall. All Audi A8 enthusiasts, Audi fans and luxury car enthusiasts are welcome to experience the features of this all-new sporty limousine via touch screen displays .
"There will be an exclusive VIP lounge suite with various car features to experience."
The Audi A8 L Quattro will be on show until December 4 at Moda Mall, the shopping complex located on the ground floor of the Bahrain World Trade Centre, which is open from 10am to 10pm, seven days a week.
