Varun Sharma packs his, undoubtedly expensive, suitcase for another challenging tour of the world's finest hotels, cultural sights and spas. The destinations having the pleasure of pampering Sharma this time around include Melbourne, Hawaii and Tasmania.

When we last dropped in on Jonathan Ames - New York writer, romantic, unlicensed private detective - he was taking a pounding in the boxing ring while still licking his (more painful) break-up wounds. Now that his second novel has been completed (and rejected), Jonathan is augmenting his income by moonlighting as a creative-writing teacher, while taking on some new, desperate clients. How he solves anything is a mystery.

Gleeks everywhere can rejoice, because there's enough drama in store for New Directions to fill an entire season - new romances, new characters and lots of Britney Spears! Season 2 will pick up at the beginning of a new school year at McKinley High, where the members of New Directions are bigger losers than ever before following their disappointing third-place finish at Regional's.

SUNDAY (Dec 5)

Series - Ghost Whisperer on Fox Series at 9pm

Melinda Gordon communicates with earthbound spirits, ghosts who cling to the living because they have unfinished business that prevents them from moving beyond the familiar plane of existence that we call life. Inspired in part by the work of famed medium James Van Praagh and of Mary Ann Winkowski, the series is about a real-life communicator with spirits.

MONDAY (Dec 6)

Film - Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs on Super Movies at 1pm

Manny, Sid, Diego, and Ellie are back in this third film in the computer-animated Ice Age series. Manny and Ellie are expecting their first baby, while Sid the sloth tries an unconventional way of starting a family that gets him into trouble. With all this talk of babies, Diego might be losing his saber-toothed edge, but a journey to save Sid may just turn the whole group into heroes.

TUESDAY (Dec 7)

Film - The Princess and the Frog on Show Movies at 2pm

A modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through New Orleans to tell the most beautiful love story ever told ... with frogs, voodoo, and a singing crocodile.
