TO mark its 50th anniversary, Coronation Street has been on every night this week in the UK - a total of seven hours of cobbled drama - including a spectacular tram disaster that will change the Street forever.
The fall-out of the tram crash is being shown and it included a live episode on the day of the 50th anniversary.
We're a few episodes behind in Bahrain but OSN will be showing the drama shortly. The tram fell from the viaduct after a massive explosion at The Joinery bar, with the front of the vehicle smashing into the Corner Shop, and the second carriage hitting the Kabin. Probably not the best time to pop out for a pint of milk then.
Corrie producers kept tight-lipped about which characters would meet their sticky end, and TV Weekly does not want to ruin it for viewers living in the kingdom by revealing what's happening in Blighty. But we've listed the most likely victims below.
John Stape: The nerdy schoolteacher has been mired in controversial storylines from the moment he first decided to imprison Rosie Webster in an abandoned house. Is his time finally up? Cue heartbreaking shrieks from Fizz.
Molly Dobbs: Having just told hubby Tyrone that she no longer loves him, is Molly about to experience divine retribution in the shape of a runaway tram hurtling towards her head? It seems like a harsh punishment, but Molly's name has been in the tram-death frame since the storyline was first announced.
Eddie Windass: Cabby Eddie looks likely to wind up under the tram tonight. At least he will be easily identifiable by his well-worn duffel coat and trademark dodgy barnet.
Ashley Peacock: Poor, squeaky-voiced Ashley looks likely to bite the big one tonight following news that his family has already been written out of the series. At least he will be reunited with Uncle Fred Elliot in the big butcher's shop in the sky.
Rita Sullivan: It looks likely that the diva of the Kabin will be at least injured in the crash. It looks even more likely that the tram may get wedged in her unshakeable hairdo.
