Toyota skill tests for technicians

Ebrahim K. Kanoo, the distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles in Bahrain, organised the 12th National Body and Paint Skills Contest to showcase the most skillful technicians from its Toyota body and paint centres.

The event was held at the mega se

rvice centre, Toyota Plaza, in Isa Town, and was attended by company executives, Toyota Motor Corporation officials and VIPs.

The aim was to develop the skills of the technicians and test them in various body and paint categories.

Skills under focus included headlight alignment and welding, surface preparation, colour matching and top coating.

General manager of Toyota and Lexus Operations, Ebrahim Kanoo, said: “This annual competition is vital to boost the skills and morale of our employees and set high standards for technicians.

“It reflects the quality of service provided by Toyota service centres and ensures maximum customer satisfaction on every possible level.”

Ghuloom Ridha won the first place in the body category and Hussain Jaffar in the paint category.
