A GENERAL Motors Electric Networked Vehicle (EN-V) concept is pictured, right, being driven around a course setup outside the Las Vegas Convention Centre, in conjunction with this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The EN-V concept represents a vision of the future of urban personal mobility, including a feature that would allow the vehicle to park itself and automatically return to the user when summoned from a smartphone application.
A new 'Residential Watt-Station' from GE was also put on display and plugged into a Chevrolet Volt electric car at the event.
The 240 volt appliance is intended to be installed at home and can charge a car in only four to eight hours.
The Residential Watt-Station will be available in the autumn and is expected to retail for between $1,000 (BD367) to $1,500 (BD564).
